Running a Toshiba P25 laptop w/ nVidia GeForce 5700 adapter and widescreen display. When I installed Vista, it defaulted to "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter" and doesn't recognize the nVidia card. So it doesn't support the widescreen display or its native resolution. I tried installing the drivers from nVidia but they won't install because the system doesn't find the 5700. And I can't get it to install the nVidia card. Any suggestions? Thanks for the help!
